SP World RankingsHELLIONS MAKE THE WORLD RANKINGS:

[August 7, 2008] The Hellions were recently spotted in the number five slot on a world ranking chart of scenario paintball teams. They were listed along with some impressive company such as BC Army and Smart Corps, to name a few.

The Scenario Planet.com Scenario & Woodsball World Rankings Community apparently creates its ranking system based on feedback from major fields. The current listing was posted on 08/07/08 and includes fifteen teams.

Jungle Sept 08TIPPMANN RECOGNIZES HELLIONS SPONSORSHIP:

[August 7, 2008] Jungle Magazine #17 (Sept'08) Tippmann announces sponsored teams. Photo of Hellions conducting training on the field of Bedlam at CPX Sports is shown on page 8.

In another unrelated article on Oklahoma D-Day 2008, the team received a little more exposure. There was a mention of a player or two as well as a photo of Dan "Spartacus" Pianfetti's planning map. Spartacus served as the Axis Chief of Staff and was a vital component of the German victory.

Jungle 0508HELLIONS EVENT GETS NATIONAL COVERAGE:

[May, 2008] Jungle Magazine #14 (May 2008) has an advertisement for the Hellions: Red Storm Rising scenario event being produced by the Hellions on May 17, 2008 at CPX Sports in Joliet, Illinois.

The ad appears on page 6.

SP World RankingsGRENDEL IS MOST RECOGNIZED PLAYER :

[April 28, 2008] While visiting the CPX Sports in preparation of the upcoming Hellions: Red Storm Rising event, Paul Dagnino, the field's Marketing Director, first pointed it out.

Paintball 2Xtreme surveyed members of their PB2X Street Team. Question 2 was "In your opinion, who is the most recognized scenario player?" Daniel Johnston of Iowa responded "Lonnie Colson", better known as "Grendel" on the Hellions. The complete responses can be read on pages 44-45.

CelebrityHELLIONS GET NEW CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENT:

[August 24, 2007] When Lonnie "Grendel" Colson told the team that had been approached by an undisclosed marketing agency which represents a major paintball marker manufacturer seeking to use his image in future advertisements, they told him it was a dream come true. Ever a comedian, Grendel remarked that if would only be a dream come true if it included Jessica Alba in a bikini on a beach in the Caribbean
.

Don "D-Mac" McClelland, the team's resident graphic design wizard was somehow able to produce a celebrity endorsement from Miss Alba. She can be seen posing in the new Hellions "Off-Duty Tee" and designer brand digital camouflage pants. There was even a personalized message wishing the team good luck at their next event. APG MagazineHELLIONS APPEAR IN AGP MAGAZINE:

[June 22, 2007] Adam "Mimic" Welte just reported that he spotted the Hellions in a brief article in the latest issue of Action Pursuit Games. Though only a couple of paragraphs long, it announces the team's sponsorship agreements with Tippmann Sports, PMI/RPS Marballizer and Empire E'Vents. Team Captain, Lonnie "Grendel" Colson is also quoted on his opinion of Marballizer paintballs.

The article is entitled "Hellions & CPX" and appears in the August 2007 edition next to a highlight of benefits offered by CPX Sports to members of their Ground Control Army and their Home Field Advantage sponsorship program.
