OK, some news on this one. The field is called O'Hare Paintball and its right on the corner of Thorndale and Busse. Its a single x-ball type field with inflatable bunkers. The turf is nice..its the grass type with the rubber "dirt". They have BT rentals there, plenty of picnic tables for staging/eating, a good chrono station (280) and concessions with hot food/snacks/candy/drinks.
A buddy of mine actually ended up helping bring the place up. They had opening day last Friday and I stopped by to meet the owner and get a tour of the facility. The only concern I would have at this point is the venellation, so we will see how that shakes out...it can get hot in there. As for prices, I think they were saying its a 20 buck entry. The hours are:
Friday 5pm - 10pm
Saturday 12pm - 7pm
Sunday 12pm - 6pm
Mon-Thurs - by appointment only (for corporate parties/b-days/etc)
Anyway, I am looking to head over in a couple weeks after work to get a game in so I will give more information as I have it.
